About Dr. Stacey Ludlow
I’m a native Texan but my family moved around quite a bit when I was growing up. I eventually landed back in Texas and graduated from Austin College with a BA in Biology. I attended medical school and did Pediatrics residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. After serving as a physician in the United States Navy for four years, my family and I settled in Tulsa, Oklahoma to be closer to our families. I joined a wonderful private practice (Young People’s Clinic, PC) and remained there for over 20 years. I always had a passion for ADHD and made a concerted effort to further educate myself on the disorder and gain more experience treating it. Over the years as the practice grew, the need for my services became greater, and I eventually became the sole provider of the ADHD evaluations and medication management for the practice. I also received frequent referrals for my services from other providers in the Tulsa community.
While attending a CHADD conference in late 2017 I happened to meet Dr. William Dodson, a nationally recognized ADHD expert and founder of the Dodson ADHD Center, an adult ADHD clinic in Denver. At the time I knew I would be relocating to Denver in early 2018. Our conversation that day planted a seed which grew into the conception and the eventual opening of ADHD Specialists of Colorado, a practice dedicated to the treatment of ADHD in children, adolescents and young adults, in September 2018.
Other Interests
Dr. Ludlow is a dog enthusiast! She and her husband are recent empty nesters but still have two dogs at home—Fiona, a Border collie, and Siobhan, a Bernese mountain dog.
Dr. Ludlow and her sons were volunteer puppy raisers and trainers for two different service dog organizations, and this inspired her to study to become a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. She taught dog obedience classes and private lessons for several years while living in Tulsa. Dr. Ludlow and her husband are enjoying the dog friendly culture in Denver and love hiking in the mountains with the pets!
